Day Three in the UK

Today we visited Arundel Castle which was originally built in 1067. Other parts were added later, but this is still an amazing castle with lots of beautiful features.
A very imposing site. When looking from the ramparts the views are quite stunning of beautiful rolling English countryside.
The castle was fully self sufficent but one problem was their water supply as they found out during one siege their enemy was able to block their supply of water. That siege only lasted 16 days.
A cool water feature with the crown held up by the water.
A really old bookstore in Lewes. Wouldn't be up to code in Christchurch.
Matt introduced us to a local game called 'Toad in the Hole' . 1 point for getting a small metal disc onto an equally small table or 2 points for getting the disc into an impossibly small hole in the centre of the table. Needless to say I wasn't to good at this game but Phil and Matt showed far greater skill and managed to get the Toad (aka small round disc) into the hole on at least one occasion.
