Grey Days and plenty of walking.

Today started out wet and grey and we decided to walk to Rottingdean a small town east of Brighton. Here we had lunch in a small tea rooms which dated back to 1680. Across the road was an even older tea rooms which was dated 1560.
We walked under the White cliffs, similar to those at Dover which is a few miles further East.
In Brighton we tried jellied eels, although the boys were braver than me and actually swallowed theirs, I am afraid to say that I would make a lousy 'Fear Factor' contestant as I fail at eating unusual foods.
This is a private school just out of town, looked a bit like Hogwarts. Absolutely huge school and grounds.

Rottingdean and its windmill in the background. Some really unusual names for towns etc. this particular town has some very old houses and shops ranging from 100 to almost 500 years old.
