Today we visited a man who lives in a Park in Craghead. Nick is a friend of our host and he lives in a house in the Craghead National Park with trees and wild flowers at his back door and a small lake at his front door. Nick lives in what used to be a carpentry worship and he has lived here for over twenty years. A rather idyllic place.
The old carpentry workshop now houses Nick and his many old cars.
Craghead House also in the same Park and open to visitors.
The Lake.
The formal gardens which are currently being restored to there former glory.
A fine young pheasant spotted in the garden. On our way we saw lovely views of the Tweed area including the river etc. Tonight we are going for a curry with our hosts, and that's about our day.
For all those back in New Zealand have a great last day at school and enjoy your holidays. See you in in the new term.
Thanks for sharing your holiday photos. We have found them very interesting and they have been a highlight of our days. See you after the holidays!
